Barnlongart Estate is set in a national Scenic area and enjoys a mild climate, washed as it is by the Gulf Stream. This is an unspoilt landscape of woods and moorland with stunning seascapes to the islands of Islay, Jura and Gigha with ample opportunities for the active holidaymaker or the wild life enthusiast or those seeking solitude.

With our sister Ormsary Estate we have miles of excellent footpaths and a 5 mile mountain bike track, fabulous secluded beaches, a beautiful shallow bay ideal for children and an incredible array of wildlife including deer, golden eagle, buzzard, otter, and red squirrel.

Within half an hour's drive we have the famous Crinan Canal, ancient Kilmartin Glen, Lochgilphead for a good selection of local shops and banks, Ardrishaig and the pretty harbour of Tarbert. A little further away, you can visit Inveraray, Oban or Campeltown or take a ferry to Islay, Gigha, Jura or Arran.
